Atlético Paso closed its regular season with a resounding victory against Montijo, a team that was fighting to stay in the category. The match, played at the Emilio Macarro, was a clear reflection of the dominance of Paso, which from the first minute imposed its rhythm and knew how to take advantage of the opportunities that were presented to it.

Despite the changes, the team did not lose its essence and from the beginning controlled the game, preventing Montijo from having clear scoring options.
The first goal came in the 18th minute, when Sissokho took advantage of a hanging ball in the area to score with a header. Just six minutes later, Guti extended the lead with a shot from the edge of the area that slipped into the top corner. With the score at 2-0, El Paso went into the break with a clear advantage.
A Second Half Mastered
After the restart, Montijo came out with more impetus, but Paso knew how to control their attacks and prevent them from disturbing the goal defended by Roberto Gutiérrez. The Extremaduran team had a clear opportunity to close the gap, but the goalkeeper from La Palma was imperial in the one-on-one.
