New opportunities for Rioja companies

The Minister of Economy, Innovation, Business and Self-Employment, Belinda León, together with the manager of the ADER, Luis Pérez Echeguren, have launched a pre-application process for support intended for companies under regulation 651/2014 and the concept of ‘ incentive effect’. This initiative focuses on the Order of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Business and Self-Employment, which establishes the bases for granting ADER subsidies to investment projects to improve business competitiveness.

Facilitating investment and administrative agility

This new measure will allow companies, both small and large, to communicate their investments immediately once the order is published, without having to wait for the official call, thus ensuring a positive impact on project incentives. Each company may submit a single pre-application and then complete the formal application when the corresponding call is published.

Simplification and economic support for development

For the current year, the pre-application process will be in force from the publication of the ADER aid regulations until the publication of the respective calls. Starting in 2025, companies will be able to submit their pre-applications from January 1 of each year, thus facilitating compliance with the incentive effect until the calls are published. This measure seeks to simplify administrative procedures, meeting the objectives of streamlining processes and payments to support companies.

Ongoing support and information dissemination

The ADER is committed to supporting companies in the economic development of the region, providing solutions through the 2024 Strategic Subsidy Plan, which exceeds 84 million euros. New orders will be published with an incentive effect, offering responses to business needs. In addition, virtual talks will be held to explain this process, with the first sessions scheduled for Friday, March 22 and Wednesday, March 27 via video conference, with registration details on the ADER website.
