A change in weather dynamics
After a period marked by fresh temperatures and abundant rains, Catalonia will meet with a day of light and warmth this Wednesday. The experts of the Meteorological Service of Catalonia, known as Meteocat, have confirmed that the day will be characterized by a significant increase in temperature and a predominance of the sun.
The climate conditions of today
On Wednesday morning it has begun with some light fog inside the territory, especially in the area of Lleida. However, these will dissipate quickly, giving way to a pleasant and quiet day for most of the counties. Meteorologist Mònica Usart emphasized that the day will begin with a mild temperature on the coast and freshness inside.
Climbing to heat
As the day progresses, temperatures are expected to increase significantly. This will lead to a warmer atmosphere at noon, with highs that will remember summer. Only a few tall and medium clouds will decorate the sky, without the expected consequences.
Exceptions to the Weather Regulations
Although most of Catalonia will enjoy a radiant single, there are exceptions. According to the same meteorologist, some isolated showers are anticipated in the afternoon, especially in the Pyrenees region. Rainfall possibilities will increase in the afternoon, but they are expected to be mild and limited.
Areas with more likely to rain
The counties most likely to receive these small rainfall are Ripollès and La Garrotxa, where the sky could be loaded with clouds in the afternoon.
A wind that does not give up
Another factor that will continue to be present during the day is the wind, which will blow with some intensity. The Mestral and the Tramuntana will be present, especially in the most extreme parts of the country. Throughout the afternoon, a change of winds is expected to the sea breezes, as we prepare for a more drastic change in the weather conditions for Thursday.
