A Christmas Full of Surprises in Sant Pere de Ribes
The magic of Christmas takes over Sant Pere de Ribes with a varied offer of activities and events aimed at all audiences. Thanks to the collaboration between the City Council and local associations, proposals have been prepared that promise to make this holiday an unforgettable moment.
Lighting and Gastronomy: A Festive Start
On November 29, Plaça Marcer de Ribes was illuminated with the lighting of the Christmas tree, an event organized by Fem Ribes with municipal support. In Les Roquetes, the celebration took place the following day in Plaça de la Vinya d’en Petaca. In addition, from December 2 to 15, the first edition of the Tió Gastronomic Route will allow residents to discover the special dishes of local restaurants, with creative menus and promotions.
Community Incentives
Participants on this route will be able to enjoy a discount ticket for the stops at the Christmas Fair, which will be installed on the weekend of December 14 and 15 in Plaça de l’Església. This not only promotes local establishments, but also encourages exchange between neighbors during these festivities.
The Christmas Fair: A Space for Creativity and Fun
Organized by DO Ribes and Fem Ribes, the Christmas Fair promises a festive atmosphere with around forty craft, commercial and gastronomic tents. Visitors can enjoy travelling shows, workshops and activities for the whole family, with hours from 10am to 8.30pm, followed by live music.
Lyric and Solidarity Gala
On Sunday, December 15, at 11:45 a.m., the church of Sant Pere de Ribes will host the Christmas Lyrical Gala, with performances by prominent artists such as Paula Nogueira and Eduard Moreno. Tickets, which can be purchased on the Fem Ribes website, will go to the collection of row zero for the victims of the DANA in Valencia.
Activities for Families and Local Commerce
The UCER has prepared an attractive campaign that will allow families to visit Santa Claus’ House. This event, scheduled for December 19, 20 and 21, will include a gift raffle for the little ones and will encourage interaction with local merchants.
A Decorated Municipal Market
The La Sínia Municipal Market will be dressed up for Christmas, offering a cozy and festive atmosphere for all visitors.
Christmas Magic in Every Corner
To add a magical touch to the festivities, several Tions have been set up in Les Roquetes and Ribes, creating a Christmas atmosphere that will delight young and old. The Tions can be found in different squares and streets, bringing an element of surprise and fun to the community.
