An award -winning game is renewed with a Catalan touch

The renowned Cities table game, which has been awarded as ‘best game of the year’ at the best toys of 2024, is expanded with the arrival of an adapted edition: Cities Catalonia. This version invites players to transform and revitalize some of the most iconic cities in Catalonia.

A participatory strategy at the game festival

The Editorial Devir, a leader in the publication of Games in Catalonia, has chosen the Pyrenees Game Festival, which will take place in La Seu d’Urgell from April 4 to 6, to present this exciting new edition. The marketing of Cities Catalunya is scheduled for 2026, offering fans an exclusive advance during the event.

Proof I Participates

During the festival, attendees will be able to experience first -hand the mechanics of the game, taking the role of urban planners competing to design the best version of a city. This direct interaction will allow players to become familiar with the dynamics of cities before their official launch.

Decide the future of Cities Catalonia

One of the most innovative aspects of this new edition is the inclusion of festival attendees in the creative process. Through a voting system, participants will be able to choose which Catalan cities and towns will be represented in the game, as well as the elements of interest that should be included. This not only promotes the involvement of the community, but also strengthens the sense of belonging to local culture.

A prize for participants

To encourage participation, Devir will draw a prize of more than € 200 in games in Catalan among voters. The deadline for participation will end on April 7, coinciding with the closing of the festival. Those interested can follow the evolution of the process through Devir’s social networks.

A festival for all

The Pyrenees Game Festival is positioned as an essential event on the leisure agenda of Catalonia, transforming La Seu d’Urgell into a vibrant space dedicated to board games for three days. With activities distributed in emblematic places such as the Sala Sant Domènec and the Sant Agustí Library, the festival promotes an inclusive atmosphere where all audiences can enjoy the game as a tool for fun and learning.

A weekend of fun and connection

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a wide range of games and activities, designed to foster interaction and fun with friends, family or even alone. This playful experience becomes a celebration of the culture of the game, which is offered as a way to connect with others and with oneself.
