Local employment initiatives
This week, the Constantí City Council announced the new incentive bases aimed at companies and entrepreneurs, with the aim of strengthening employment and facilitating the hiring of unemployed people in the municipality. This measure, which is repeated year after year, seeks to create job opportunities and revitalize the local labor market.
Budget items for hiring
For 2024, a sum of 50,000 euros has been set aside to subsidize companies that decide to hire unemployed people registered with the local Employment Exchange. In addition, incentives are included for new entrepreneurs looking to establish businesses in the municipality.
Requirements and beneficiaries
The beneficiaries of these grants are both natural and legal persons who hire residents of the municipality for a minimum of six months. In this way, not only job placement is promoted, but also entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth.
Conditions of recruitment incentives
The conditions for accessing the incentives remain similar to those of the previous year. Companies can receive up to 4,000 euros for each new full-time hire with a contract of at least 12 months. The amounts vary for shorter contracts, with a maximum of three grants per company.
Support for specific groups
The aid is increased to 5,000 euros for the hiring of people over 50 years of age, single parents with children under 21 years of age and young people under 30 years of age, provided that the requirements for working hours and duration of the contract are met.
Promoting entrepreneurship in Constantí
For those who decide to start a business, the City Council maintains a grant of 4,000 euros if the business activity is maintained for at least one year. This initiative seeks to facilitate the establishment of new companies and contribute to the economic dynamism of the area.
Terms and additional information
People interested in benefiting from these subsidies can submit their documentation until January 31, 2025. Applications must be processed at the City Council’s Citizen Service Office. In addition, the Municipal Employment Office is available for consultations and advice.
