Creative April at Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum

by PREMIUM.CAT
Finalmente

Various activities for everyone

The Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum (MCTA) is approaching in April with an agenda full of activities designed for all audiences. The start of these events will be on Saturday, April 5 with an innovative workshop on poker letters, inspired by the work ‘The Mag Barrok’ by the prominent Catalan artist Modest Cuixart. Participants will have the opportunity to choose their favorite letters and customize them, thus creating unique pieces that fuse art and imagination.

On Thursday, April 10, the Museum will continue the Gastro Art project, with a special activity organized by Atelier by Aitor Estela. This session invites attendees to enjoy a gastronomic experience with a selection of cocktails designed to stimulate the five senses. Participants will also enjoy a guided tour that explores the intersection between gastronomy and visual art. Places are limited to 20 attendees and the cost of participating is 30 euros. According to Martí Pons and Charline Bony, responsible for the organization, ‘Gastro Art is an opportunity to integrate art with culinary culture, offering a unique sensory experience.’

Celebration of Sant Jordi

On Wednesday, April 23, the museum will join the celebration of Sant Jordi with a book stall located in the Plaza Coprínceps. This initiative seeks to foster love for reading and share the pleasure of words with the community.

Creative Workshop for Sant Jordi

To end the month, on Saturday, April 26, a workshop dedicated to the festival of Sant Jordi will be offered. Attendees will be able to explore the classic themes of the legend, including the story of the knight, the lady and the dragon, as well as the symbolism of the rose.
