The ACAIP union criticizes the agreement and calls for resignations

The ACAIP union has criticized the agreement between Justice and UGT, CCOO, IAC-CATAC and the Intersyndical that has allowed the general prison strike scheduled for this Friday to be called off. In a tweet on social networks, they have been accused of acting with “nocturnality and treachery” and warned that no one had asked for a new labor agreement: “What is needed are resignations and security”, he indicated.

In a statement, the Marea Blava platform has demanded the resignation of the representation of the top managers of these sections to negotiate “behind the backs of the staff”.

Marea Blava accuses the unions of acting “with their backs to the workforce”

In a statement, the Marea Blava movement has regretted the way UGT, CCOO, IAC-CATAC and the Intersyndical have acted and they have demanded “the renunciation of representation” of the top managers of these unions in prisons. They have regretted what they consider a “treason” to negotiate “behind the backs of the workforce” and push forward the Labor and Safety Measures Agreement “without consulting the workers”.

Penitentiary officials make a symbolic cartel

At the same time, coinciding with the start of the 12-M campaign, prison workers have carried out a symbolic picket at emblematic places in Lleida, Tarragona, Figueres and Barcelona. As sources from these officials have explained to the ACN, towns have been chosen where there have been or still are operating penitentiary centers. In fact, in Barcelona the posters can be seen around the Model.
