A Look at Improvements and Innovations
Following the unveiling of the revamped Youth Space, significant changes have been implemented to create a more attractive and functional environment for local youth. With the involvement of students from different high schools in the area, renovations have been carried out both inside and outside the center.
In recent months, a group of students from several local schools have been actively working on these improvements as part of community projects. This collaboration has borne fruit in the preparation of leisure and cultural activities for the beginning of summer, offering a wider range of services for young people.
Commitment to Sustainability and Nature
Within the framework of environmental projects, a joint initiative has been carried out with local ecological groups to promote the preservation of native flora. Thus, the gardens of the Youth Space now have a new collection of native orchids, thanks to the active participation of students and specialist groups.
This initiative, developed in collaboration with several local groups, reflects the interest in creating green spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also ecologically sustainable, promoting respect for the environment.
Celebrating Culture and Learning
With the arrival of Sant Jordi’s day, the Youth Space will host a book exchange, an opportunity to encourage reading and the sharing of knowledge among the young community. In addition, an interactive game will be presented to discover the resources and services available at the centre, encouraging participation and exploration among the young people of the municipality.
The Youth Space will be established as a vital meeting point for young people, offering a multi-functional space that not only promotes leisure, but also continuous learning and personal growth.
Extended Hours for Greater Flexibility
From April 23, the Youth Space will extend its opening hours to better suit the needs of young people. With afternoon options Monday through Thursday, as well as morning sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, it seeks to provide more opportunities for young people to participate in the activities and services on offer.
This extension of hours reflects the centre’s continued interest in responding effectively to the demands and preferences of young people, ensuring that the Youth Space is accessible and welcoming to all.
