An inaugural market in the Madriu Valley
The Escaldes-Engordany commune has designed a series of activities for this first semester that includes an unpublished proposal: the Retro Mercat del Madriu. Scheduled for May 17 at Borda Sabaté, a space acquired by the collaboration between the Comú and the Government of Andorra, this market will become a meeting point for lovers of antique dealer and vintage objects. Those interested in exposing their items will be able to request a stop, with a maximum of 20 available, until May 5. The rate to be installed will be 10.71 euros, and the event will also include traditional basketball workshops for the whole family.
Drawing the Valley: The Sketchers Meeting
Another initiative that stands out in the program is the first meeting of Sketchers, which will take place on May 10. This activity will allow up to 30 artists and enthusiasts immortalize with spontaneous drawings the beauty of the Madriu valley, recently recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In addition, an initiation course will be offered for those who want to discover the techniques of this art, with a capacity limited to 12 participants and a registration of 21.48 euros.
Family Survival Course: A start -up of adventure
The program will start on April 12 with an exciting course of family survival, which will be developed in the natural environment of Ramio. Participants will have the opportunity to learn essential skills for nature self -sufficiency. With a capacity limited to 10 families (40 people), the cost for adults will be 21.48 euros, while the children will pay only 10.72 euros.
Other activities that will enrich the season
In addition to the new features, the program includes consolidated activities that have been well received in previous editions. Thus, on June 1, a natural dye workshop will be held with native plants, and on June 21, an initiation training will be held in the mountain lifeguard. The Revive Ràmio celebration, scheduled for July 6, promises fun with family activities and a popular sausage.
