This recognition, granted by the Valencian Academy of Language, emphasizes the positive impact that creativity and technology may have on student learning.
The born of a tradition
The ‘Petit Tools’ project is the result of an initiative that arises from the magazine ‘Tools’, which has been publishing content for three decades. ESO first students have been the engine of this new adventure, which seeks to integrate learning with digital tools.
The creation of a digital magazine
Through Microsoft tools, students have developed a digital magazine that fuses knowledge gained in various subjects. Gemma Pérez, the Deputy Director, emphasizes that they have created a ‘Dracula’ booktrailer and that they will soon produce a news program, using a chroma for recordings. The aim is to expand their technological skills beyond the usual use of the mobile phone.
A new vision of learning
Toni González, the director of the institute, emphasized the importance of projects like this to transform the way students perceive knowledge. According to him, learning should not be only theoretical; It must have a practical application that allows students to see their usefulness in the real world.
Awards and new initiatives
In addition to the Carme Miquel Prize, IES Pare Vitoria has recently presented two projects at the Baldiri Awards, focused on the promotion of art, culture and language. This is an example of its continuous research of educational excellence.
Fostering international experiences

González emphasizes that, while previously carried out individual mobilities, they have now managed to send a group to Europe to develop a curriculum internationally. González added that they are already introducing artificial intelligence in classrooms, a topic that has become essential in modern education. In addition, robotics is gaining momentum as part of the curriculum, preparing students for an increasingly technological future.
