Summer proposals for all young people
This summer, El Vendrell opens a new range of activities designed for young people with functional diversity, in an effort to ensure that everyone can enjoy free time in an inclusive way.
A guide for a diverse leisure
The City Council of Vendrell has prepared a complete guide of summer activities, which collects the leisure, art and sport options for children and young people, with a special approach to inclusion. This guide is the result of collaborative work between the City Council, schools, local entities and families, in order to promote equitable access to summer activities.
Actions for inclusion
Through the inclusive table of the Environment Education Plan, various initiatives have been implemented that seek to ensure that all children and young people have the opportunity to participate in varied activities, thus fostering an atmosphere of diversity and quality in leisure.
More opportunities for young people with functional diversity
This year, more than 80 young people with functional diversity will join activities such as the Clover Summer Casals, La Ballaruga and Esplai Zig Zag. In addition, sports and artistic campuses are offered, including the Sports Council campus and the artistic summer of the Municipal Art School.
News and extensions
One of the novelties of this year is the increase in places for summer activities aimed at young people with functional diversity, thus responding to the demands of families. The offers include new proposals from the Clover Association, as well as Paddle Surf activities in Coma-ruga.
A commitment to inclusion
Silvia Vaquero, Councilor for Education and President of the Environment Education Plan, emphasized the importance of building a program that responds to the individual needs and interests of young people. “Our goal is to create a cozy and inclusive environment, where everyone can explore their hobbies and talents,” said Vaquero.
