Santi Vila: from converging mayor of Figueres to support Salvador Illa
Santi Vila, who was mayor of Figueres and adviser to the Generalitat in the governments of Artur Mas and Carles Puigdemont, has announced his support for Salvador Illa in the run-up to this Sunday’s elections. For some time, Vila has distanced himself from the convergent space and from Puigdemont’s political ideas, despite maintaining a good personal relationship with him. Now, he has joined the platform to support the list head of the PSC.
Accession of Santi Vila and other former councilors of Junts
Santi Vila’s decision to support Salvador Illa has occurred at the same time as the accession of another former councilor of Junts, Miquel Sàmper. Santi Vila’s political journey
