A magical opening for an unforgettable Christmas
On November 29, Escaldes-Engordany is preparing for an extraordinary celebration with the start of the (Re)Invent your Christmas event. The party will begin with the magical lighting of the lights at 6:00 p.m., an event that will be held in collaboration with Andorra la Vella, focusing on Carrer de la Unió. With the aim of making the event accessible to everyone, the Commune has decided to install a giant screen in Plaça Coprínceps, where you can follow the ignition live, as well as via the Commune’s YouTube channel.
A tour full of music and traditions
After the lighting, attendees will be able to enjoy an itinerant show that will travel along Avinguda Carlemany, bringing the joy to Plaça Coprínceps. At 6.15 pm, the vocal ensemble of the Communal Music School will offer a performance, followed by a concert by the Soulful Christmas group, which will culminate with a chocolate party and the distribution of mulled wine and gingerbread cookies for all.
Family activities and concerts
The fun will continue on November 30 with Madame Lumière, a family concert designed for children from 0 to 3 years old, which will take place in the Prat del Roure hall with an entrance fee of 3 euros. Tickets are available on the ONCA Foundation website. The music will not stop there, as the hall will host a tribute to iconic artists on December 5 with the VII Tribute Concert of the Grossband, with tickets between 15 and 25 euros.
Traditional moments that fall in love
In the following days, the Prat del Roure room will become a stage for a series of concerts that will celebrate the traditions. On December 14, you will experience the magic of the Living Nativity, which this year is in its 8th edition. Tickets can be purchased for 3 euros. In addition, on December 21, the Escaldes-Engordany Choir will perform a Christmas carol at the Church of Sant Pere Mártir.
The arrival of the holidays with a magical touch
From December 20 to 26, the Magic Lookout will offer a unique experience with sparks of light to guide Christmas dreams. On December 21, The Yetis’ street show and the Palau de Nadal projection promise to make the parish vibrate with its magic. The celebration of New Year’s Eve is also approaching, with a dance organized by the Balland Association in the Prat del Roure hall.
The end of the festivities with the Three Kings procession
On the first weekend of January, the magic will continue with the arrival of the Royal Pageant, which will run through the streets of Escaldes-Engordany. On Sunday, the card collection will mark the prelude to the traditional Cavalcade of Kings, which will put an end to the festivities. (Re)Invent your Christmas is not only an event, but an opportunity to reconnect with the Christmas spirit with family and friends, transforming Escaldes-Engordany into a center of joy and celebration during these very special dates.
