A day full of activities and groups
This Saturday, the Espiadimonis children’s group of devils will celebrate their first day in Mollet. The event will start at 12 pm and will include a parade with other Molletan organizations, such as Ball de Diables, Castellers de Mollet, Morats, Torrats and Cuca Molla. The route of the parade will pass through several streets of the city, such as Rambla Nova, Parc de les Pruneres and Plaça de Prat de la Riba. During the route, there will be three displays at strategic points in the city.
Spiadimonis: a gang on the rise
The Espiadimonis gang currently has 187 members, including children and adults. Its president, Penélope Lorente, expects the participation of more than a hundred members in this day. During the event, the gang will showcase their talents in music and juggling. Although they have recently started rehearsing with fire, we will still have to wait a little longer to see their pyrotechnic displays on stage.
La Cuca Molla will also participate
Another entity that will participate in this day is the Cuca Molla, which normally only comes out for major holidays. The president of the group, Penélope Lorente, explained that there are many children who are members of Cuca Molla and Espiadimonis, and who intend to do joint activities. This shows the union and collaboration between the different entities of Mollet.
Castellers de Mollet starts the 2024 season
On the other hand, Castellers de Mollet will start the 2024 season on St George’s Day. The event will start with a parade and from 12 noon, castles will begin to be erected. In addition to the Castellers de Mollet, the Micacos de Badalona and the Xics de Granollers will also participate. It will be a Castellera day full of emotion and skill.
