An exhibition that celebrates women
From June 1, 2025, Abacus in Igualada will host ‘Women inland’, a photographic exhibition created by artist Anna Martínez. This exhibition highlights the diversity and strength of 31 women of different ages and trajectories, presenting a combination of portraits, everyday objects and texts that reflect their experiences.
A visual journey full of excitement
Martinez, recognized for his sensitivity in documentary photography, brings an intimate and honest look to the lives of portrayed women. Each image and object selected not only tells a story, but also invites visitors to emotionally connect with the experiences of the protagonists.
Complementary activities during the exhibition
The opening of the exhibition will take place on June 5 and will be accompanied by various activities, including talks and workshops on topics relevant to the community. These activities seek not only to enrich the experience of visitors, but also to foster dialogue on the female condition in the world today.
A space of reflection and creation
In addition to the exhibitions, Abacus will offer a wide range of events, such as craft workshops and reading sessions, which will provide a space for creativity and collective reflection. These activities will contribute to the creation of a more united and conscious community.
Access and practical details
Entrance to the exhibition is free, facilitating access to anyone who wants to explore and celebrate female diversity. The event will be available until June 30, 2025, thus offering a wide period for your visit.
An opportunity to meet and learn
