An increasing impact on clothing collection

Fashion has revealed its most recent figures, consolidating itself as the indisputable leader in Spain in collecting clothing, with an impressive total of 47,636,779.20 kilos collected during 2024. This figure represents an increase of three million kilos compared to the previous year, reflecting the success of its sustainable business model.

A trajectory of more than 30 years

Born from the initiative of Caritas, this non -profit cooperative has taken advantage of more than three decades of experience in managing clothing for reuse. Its origins are in the parishes, where the collection of pieces with a social and supportive approach began.

Innovation and collaboration in the textile sector

Throughout 2024, fashion has been involved in pioneering projects in textile recycling, such as The Post Fiber® and Loopamid®, collaborating with important actors in the industry. This innovative approach has positioned the cooperative as a strategic partner in the transition to a circular economy.

Improvements in energy sustainability

With the aim of optimizing its processes, the cooperative has expanded its fleet of vehicles, incorporating electricity and applying efficient driving techniques. In addition, it has installed photovoltaic charging bases to ensure its energy self -sufficiency.

Modern shops with social commitment

Fashion renamed 2024 with a total of 145 own stores and 27 points of sale at Alcampo Hypermarkets. These stores not only challenge the stereotypes of second -hand shops, but also promote a strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

Reinvestment in the community

The income obtained through sales is reinverted in training and job creation programs for people in vulnerable situations. Thus, it not only promotes the reuse of clothes, but also contributes to social development.

Training and labor inclusion

Fashion stores work as training spaces where workers can acquire skills in commercial management and customer service. In addition, they have provided 1,608 jobs by 2024, an increase of 17.5% over the previous year.

A sustainable commitment

With a consolidated trajectory in the textile sector, it has strengthened its commitment to sustainability, inspiring the citizenry to actively participate in the transformation to a more ecological and responsible world.
