The Vice President of the Government, Laura Vilagrà, has described the agreement with the unions of prison officials as “historic”. This agreement improves the working conditions of prison officials and includes improvements in the field of security. The previous agreement on working conditions for prison officials dates from 2006. In addition, they undertake to promote the training and professionalization of the collective and to improve safety in work procedures, equipment and safety systems.
