A monthly appointment for equity lovers
On February 23, the Paseo Verdaguer de Igualada will become a vibrant market of treasures of the past, with more than 150 exhibitors who will show authentic seniority jewels. This edition promises to be a unique opportunity for those looking for objects with history and a sentimental value.
The innovative incorporation of the craft fair
This 2025 marks a significant change, as the craft fair, which was once held only three times a year, will now be installed every last Sunday of the month, except during the summer and December months. With a dozen exhibitors, the fair will offer local handicrafts, such as fresh foods, fashion accessories and home decoration.
Local delights and unique creations
Visitors will be able to taste a range of local produce, including bread, cheeses, sausages and cakes, while exploring craft works such as jewelry, ceramics and wood work. This fusion of antiques and craftsman will not only enrich the purchase experience, but also promote local culture.
A space for the culture of wine
The Craft Fair will also host the Anoia wine and cavas show, ‘close’, organized by Visit Anoia. This initiative will allow wine lovers to enjoy a tasting in a festive atmosphere, fostering gastronomy and local wine in a stand located near Sant Magí Street.
A tradition that lasts
The Antiquities Market, born in 1980, has become a reference for collectors and vintage fans. With hours from 9am to 2pm, attendees will be able to stroll between the stops and discover unique objects, favoring the exchange and passion for heritage.
Key dates for the agenda
In addition to the February appointment, the antique market and the craft fair will be held again on other dates throughout the year, including March 30, April 27, May 25, 29 June, September 28, October 26 and November 30. This program promises to keep the tradition and interest in the cultural heritage of Igualada alive.
With these activities, Igualada is positioned as an essential destination for those who value history, crafts and quality in local products, creating a space for cultural coexistence and appreciation.
