As a result of the police intervention, one of the pigeons was identified as belonging to a pigeon fancier club on the island of Tenerife, which led to its prompt return to its rightful owner. This operation is part of the commitment of the Environment Group (Grume) to verify the legal origin of the species exhibited for sale, with special attention to those protected at the regional, national and international level, as well as the species whose commercialization is prohibited.
