A worrying weather situation

In recent days, Spain has been under the influence of an Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA). Rainfall and storms have captured the attention of experts and citizens alike because of their significant impacts on the climate.

The analysis of an expert meteorologist

In this context, Roberto Torres, renowned meteorologist and presenter, has published a video in which he offers a detailed analysis of the current situation.

In his speech, Torres breaks down the characteristics of this DANA and the possible short-term consequences. It also highlights the precautions that the population must take to face this adverse climatic event.

Forecasts for the next few hours

According to Torres, the DANA is currently located between southern Portugal and the Gulf of Cadiz. From this position, it is predicted that it can intensify the storms in Andalusia.

During the morning, very intense precipitation is expected in areas such as Malaga, Seville and Córdoba, although rain is not ruled out in other areas of the Andalusian community.

In the afternoon, storms similar to those of the previous days are expected to repeat. Especially in regions of the central west, the north of the Iberian system and the Pyrenees, and especially in the interior of the northwest, where hailstones could occur.

Forecasts for tomorrow

As for tomorrow, the DANA is expected to cross the peninsula, causing showers and locally strong storms in the center, the northwest interior, the northern plateau, the northern Iberian system and the upper Ebro.

Towards the latter part of the day, these conditions will extend into the eastern and southeastern interior. It should be noted that there is some uncertainty about the exact trajectory of the DANA.

Conclusions

In short, the coming days will be marked by an unstable weather situation in a large part of the Spanish territory. However, it seems that temperatures will remain and, in areas where there is no precipitation, the atmosphere will be very summery.
