Manure accumulation problems
The residents of the Béns d’Avall development have expressed their concern about the accumulation of manure in one of the areas of the development. This situation has occurred due to the removal of collection points by the Sóller Recicla company, which has caused the piles of manure to be a serious inconvenience for the residents of the area. Residents complain that people throw objects in the trash indiscriminately, and this, along with the removal of other collection points, has created an unpleasant situation that the residents themselves have to deal with.
Cleaning days
The situation has reached such a point that the residents of Béns d’Avall have organized cleaning days in order to remove the large amount of dirt that accumulates in the development. This fact highlights the extreme situation that the residents are facing recently.
Traffic problems
On the other hand, the residents have also asked the Sóller City Council to take measures to avoid traffic problems in the area. Recently, the Hotel Corazón organized a party that attracted a large number of vehicles, which were parked along the path of the urbanization. This situation prevented the passage of some neighbors and caused inconvenience. After reporting it to the Police, up to 47 fines were issued to the offending drivers.
Demand for solutions
The residents of Béns d’Avall are asking the City Council to take measures to solve these problems. One of the proposals is to paint a yellow line in the area to prevent a similar situation from occurring again. The residents consider that the current situation is unsustainable and hope that their demands will be met.
