Faced with this situation, the Munera Local Police took action on the matter and immediately contacted the experts from the Castilla-La Mancha body of environmental agents to intervene.
The agents deployed an operation to locate the lynx and guarantee its safety while it roamed the streets of the municipality.

Despite the efforts to capture the feline, the Iberian lynx managed to slip out of the sight of the authorities and disappear into the darkness of the night, leaving behind an aura of mystery.
So far, the origin of the lynx has not been revealed, which did not carry any tracking device that would allow its origin to be determined.

Munera, a charming town with approximately 3,500 inhabitants, is located in the beautiful region of Campo de Montiel, providing an idyllic setting for this unexpected encounter with wildlife.
