A competition that drives knowledge
The City Council of L’Hospitalet has launched its 25th edition of the Scientific and Technological Conference, an event that invites all high school students in the city to participate in a competition that promotes research and innovation.
Key dates and participation
Students will be able to present their projects from today, April 3, until Friday, April 11. This is a unique opportunity for young researchers who want to show their work and their innovative ideas.
Training and involvement of teachers
Not only is the Conference a platform for the students, but also actively involve the tutors, fostering a collaborative and enriching learning atmosphere.
Objectives of the Conference
The event seeks mainly to inspire the scientific curiosity among young people, recognize the efforts of high school teachers, and promote the exchange of ideas between different schools.
Participation modalities
Participants can submit their work individually or in groups, always representing their schools during the academic year 2024-2025.
Premis I recognitions
It is planned to award prizes in seven different categories, with a total of 5,000 euros in prizes. Each category will award the best work with 500 euros, while four second positions of 250 euros will also be given.
Premis categories
The categories include: Knowledge of the city, gender equality, environmental sustainability, experimental sciences, technological innovation, artistic expression and social reflections.
Exhibition and delivery of prizes
The selected works will be exhibited in May, with the awards ceremony scheduled for June at the Barradas Auditorium, a key moment in celebrating the effort and creativity of the participants.
