Celebration of the Emprèn Awards: A Recognition of Innovation
The Tarragona Provincial Council recently held its annual edition of the Emprèn Awards, an event that recognizes the effort and creativity of local entrepreneurs. In a new approach, this year it has chosen to eliminate the traditional categories, thus rewarding a total of ten initiatives that stand out for their social responsibility and innovation.
Economic Awards and Personalized Support
Each of the selected projects has received a grant of 4,000 euros, accumulating a total of 40,000 euros in prizes. This aid will not only facilitate the development of the projects, but also includes personalized advice from the technical team of the Provincial Council and the collaborating entities.
Awards Ceremony at the Tarraco Arena
The award ceremony took place at the Tarraco Arena, as part of the Connect@ Inn-Tech conference, with the presence of prominent figures such as the president of the Provincial Council, Noemí Llauradó, and the deputy Pere Granados. The awards seek to promote emerging projects in the Camp de Tarragona, Terres de l’Ebre and Baix Penedès.
Innovative Projects That Make a Difference
Among the winners this year are initiatives such as MELIUS ORGANICS, dedicated to sustainability in pharmaceutical development, and LARETTA, which is committed to responsible fashion design. Other notable projects include PERMATURISM, which offers sensory tourism, and NATIU, which promotes health through nature.
A Speaker for Entrepreneurship
The event not only served to present awards, but also served as a platform for discussion on social media as a tool for generating value. The talk featured the participation of digital marketing experts who shared strategies and ideas to boost business initiatives.
