Important dates for pre -registration
The pre-enrollment process for the municipal nursery schools of Barcelona for the 2025-2026 course already has defined dates. It is essential to be aware of the calendar to ensure that children who are four months in September 2025 have their guaranteed place.

The key dates of the process are then detailed:
– Offer of places published: May 2
– online pre -registration: May 5 to 16
– Presentation of applications in person (with appointment at the chosen school): May 5 to 16
– Draw to solve tie: May 30 at 11:30 am, with immediate publication of the number in betevé
– List of admitted children and waiting list published on the school website: June 11
– Registration period: June 12-20, with calls to families to arrange appointments
Requests Out of Term
For those applications that are submitted beyond the established period (May 19 and 20), they may be accepted, although they will be indicated that they have been submitted outside the term. These applications must be delivered to the center chosen as the first option, always with an appointment.
Open Day
Families who want to get to know the municipal nursery schools will be able to participate in the open days, which will take place between March 29 and May 8. The informative sessions will be held in person, with some options also available online.
New to EBM Brothers
For the next course, the EBM Germanetes, located in the Eixample district, will introduce new options for families. It will offer five groups with full schedule (from 9am to 5pm) and two groups with time diversification for children born in 2023 and 2024, with mornings from 9 to 13 hours and evenings from 15 to 19 hours.
Families interested in places with reduced hours must consult the application procedure on the school’s website, with the same period of presentation from May 5 to 16.
