An Initiative to Revive Local Commerce

This Friday, the Bisbal del Penedès will launch the ‘Discover the Christmas Light’ campaign, designed to revitalize local commerce in the run-up to the Christmas holidays. In collaboration with the Tarragona Chamber of Commerce, the City Council seeks to encourage shopping in the town’s shops with a series of exciting activities and incentives for customers.

Christmas Fair: A Space of Creativity and Tradition

The outstanding novelty of this edition is the ‘Bisbal Christmas Fair’, which will be installed in Plaça de l’Església. With the participation of twenty stalls, attendees will be able to enjoy local crafts, tastings of typical products and a festive atmosphere that will invite celebration. The opening of the fair will coincide with the lighting of the Christmas lights, bringing a special magic to the event.

Activities for the Whole Family

On Saturday, December 21, Plaça Catalunya will host a giant tió offering a free hot chocolate, a perfect activity for families looking to enjoy the warmth of Christmas. Children can participate in this festive tradition while adults can explore the offerings of local businesses.

To encourage purchases, the campaign offers an attractive prize system. Those who make purchases in six different shops will receive gifts, including a candle and an exclusive mug with designs from the Bisbal murals.
