An Innovative Theatrical Experience

It is a Saturday in April in the Sant Andreu neighborhood, in Barcelona. At the Fabra i Coats Creation Factory, the young company La Casa de Asterión presents its latest work, Los Hijos Perdidos de Dios. This work, which premiered in 2023 at the Tantarantana, is now presented in a final version that challenges the limits of theatrical experience. With a duration of six consecutive hours, this work promises a unique immersion in the world of aesthetic research and performance.

An Ambitious Artistic Proposal

La Casa de Asterión is a theater company that has set out to create a cathedral work that will last twenty-four hours, inspired by several renowned works such as Mount Olympus by Jan Fabre and 7 easy pieces by Marina Abramović. This proposal, entitled La Casa de Asterión, is structured in a prologue, five acts and an epilogue, with an intermission between each of the eight pieces that make it up. Taking thirty years to complete, this work represents an in-depth exploration of Total Theatre, addressing topics such as philosophy, poetry, music, painting, science, film and performance.

An Immersive Experience

Los Hijos Perdidos de Dios is a work that promises a unique immersive experience, where the audience has the freedom to enter and leave the room during the show. With bar service and catering available, this experience offers the possibility of experiencing the work through multiple peaces and interactions, while remaining immersed in the narrative and aesthetics of the performance.

A Chronicle of a Unique Experience

Los Hijos Perdidos de Dios is a play that challenges theatrical conventions and offers a unique experience for the audience. With a duration of six hours, this artistic proposal promises a deep immersion in topics ranging from family history to social criticism, all presented through a radical and innovative aesthetic.
