Approval of Work License for Barnahus
The Local Government Board of La Seu d’Urgell has supported the application of the Generalitat’s Social Rights Department to build a new building for Barnahus in the Alt Pirineu i Aran. This infrastructure will be located on a plot of Horta del Valira and will have a budget that amounts to 980,400 euros.
Conditions for construction
The approval includes various conditions that must be fulfilled during the execution of the work. This includes the prior presentation of a visa execution project, as well as the need to guarantee coordination and security throughout the construction process. In addition, a waste management certificate will be required and, after completing the works, the final certificate, the initial employment license and the energy certificate.
Integrated unit for children and adolescents
The new Barnahus aims to provide a coherent and well -structured service for children and adolescents who have suffered sexual assault. Construction is proposed as a sustainable work, both in terms of materials and energy efficiency. The building, which will be designed on a single rectangular shape, will be adapted to the geometry of the plot.
Resolution of technical difficulties
Although at first the City Council’s technical office had issued an unfavorable report due to technical lacks, they have been resolved and the work has been validated to meet the established requirements.
Other urban projects
In addition to Barnahus, the council has approved the drafting of a project to stabilize the wall of the Benavarre path. This initiative has a budget of 3,025 euros and has been commissioned by Engineering Sortec. An insurance has also been awarded for damage to real estate, furniture and public road materials for an amount of 3,413 euros, hired with AFIS Sabadell Slorduria de Insurance.
