The Essence of Lleida in Every Sip

A trio of Catalan entrepreneurs have created ‘Mà de Sant’, a unique drink that fuses Mediterranean herbs and honey. This creation is the result of a collaboration between Torrons i Mel Alemany, Dverd and Click & Brew, offering a sensorial journey that reflects the richness of the lands of Lleida.

A Refreshing and Natural Alternative

‘Mà de Sant’ is presented as a refreshing option far removed from the typical sugary soft drinks. With a smooth texture and a focus on naturalness, this drink is offered in two varieties: an infusion of thyme and another of fresh mint, both sweetened with local honey, ideal for quenching thirst and accompanying meals.

A Unique Proposal in the Market

Far removed from fizzy drinks, juices and kombuchas, ‘Mà de Sant’ challenges the norms of the sector. This drink, which does not fit into any pre-established category, becomes an intriguing option for those looking for something different when sitting on a terrace or in a restaurant.

A Collaborative Innovation Project

Behind this drink there is a spirit of collaboration between local producers. Xavi Homs, an inventor from Igualada, has been fundamental in the development of this concept, which has materialised thanks to the joint effort of the three brands. ‘Mà de Sant’ became available in August and can already be found in various shops, highlighting its thyme flavour as a novelty in the market.

The Taste of Culinary Innovation

‘Mà de Sant’ represents not only a drink, but also an example of the vibrant health of the Catalan gastronomic sector. By using local ingredients and innovative techniques, this proposal is a reflection of the creativity and commitment of Lleida’s entrepreneurs, who continue to explore new frontiers in gastronomy.

Availability and Future

Although it can currently be enjoyed in a selection of supermarkets, the future of ‘Mà de Sant’ looks promising. With the growing interest in artisanal and local products, this drink could become a favourite on Catalan tables, carrying with it the essence of its roots.
