The City Council of Lloret de Mar reaffirms its dedication to the sustainability and efficient use of water with a set of strategic actions that seek to improve water management in the city.

Among the most relevant initiatives that have been carried out, the following can be highlighted:
Irrigation network with water table
A irrigation network has been established that uses groundwater in the Rieral district, thus contributing to the sustainability of the water resource.
Improvement of infrastructure
Municipal regenerated water tanks on the Santa Clotilde hill have been restored to guarantee a more reliable supply.
Strategic Connections
New urban irrigation systems have been connected to the groundwater network in several key locations, including Avenida del Rieral and Calle Menora de Rosell, as well as Avenida America and Paseo Ferran Agulló.
Irrigation of sports facilities
The irrigation systems of the municipal sports facilities, such as the football fields of the Molí and Lloret, and the tennis courts, have also been integrated into this efficient water network.
