Activities celebrating literature in Manacor

From April 19 to 28, the municipality of Manacor will host a wide variety of events aimed at promoting the love of literature and fostering literary culture.

The agenda full of activities will include book presentations, storytelling shows, monologues, concerts and other cultural initiatives that will captivate literature lovers.

Highlights of the program

Sant Jordi celebration at the Son Macià Library

On April 19, the Son Macià Library will host a special activity in commemoration of Sant Jordi, consolidating the festive spirit of Book Week.

At 5:00 p.m., a unique initiative will be held that will capture the public’s attention related to the celebration of this emblematic date for lovers of literature.

Monologue and film presentation at the Porto Cristo Cultural Center

At 7.30 pm on the same day, the Porto Cristo Cultural Center will be the setting for the presentation of a book and the screening of a film, offering attendees an enriching and diverse experience.

Multi-disciplinary cultural experiences

The program will also include a monologue at the Molí d’en Beió, a concert at the Fartàritx church, and the transformative ‘Enchanted Forest’ at the Manacor History Museum.
