In the last plenary session, the Marratxí City Council took an important step by approving a motion that seeks to impose a moratorium on photovoltaic megaparks. This decision, promoted by the Popular and VOX parties, obtained the unanimous support of the members present.

The government team pointed out the need to request from the administration a regulation that addresses the issuance of licenses for parks that exceed 5 hectares. This regulation will include the creation of a zoning plan that will guarantee a balanced and environmentally friendly distribution.
