Community meetings for a better coexistence
Francisco Romero, mayor of Vilafranca, re -launched visits to the neighborhoods with the aim of promoting direct communication with citizens. From February 24, the Les Clotes district will be the focus of these initiatives, which will take place until February 28.
Meeting space in the Plaza de la Verema
One of the outstanding activities will be an open meeting with the neighbors scheduled for Thursday, February 27 at 7pm. This meeting will take place at the local association’s premises, located in the Plaza de la Verema, where relevant issues such as the improvement of public space and the issues of security and coexistence will be addressed.
Interaction with the neighborhood association
During his stay in the neighborhood, Romero will also meet with the Board of the Neighborhood Association and will make visits to various facilities and local establishments, in order to get to know first hand the needs and concerns of the neighbors.
Transparency and feedback with the community
At the meetings, Mayor Romero will take stock of the issues raised in the previous round of visits and will report on the improvements that have been implemented throughout last year. It will also exhibit the future projects that will affect both the Clotes and the rest of Vilafranca.
