A decade of creativity and culture
On March 21, 2015, Mont-Agora opened its doors as a lighthouse of culture and arts in Santa Margarida de Montbui. In recent years, this center has become a point of reference not only for the municipality, but also for the entire Conca d’Odena, where events have been experienced that have enriched the cultural landscape of the area.
Commemorative activities for a special birthday
To celebrate this significant milestone, in March a wide range of activities has been designed that include exhibitions, concerts, literary workshops and film sessions. The highlight will be a poetic-musical show scheduled for the same birthday.
Opening of exhibitions
The celebration will begin with the premiere of the photographic exhibitions and commemorative posters, scheduled for March 6 at 19:00. This initiative is part of the first event of the month, which will allow attendees to enjoy a visual selection that gathers the most emblematic moments experienced in the center.
Reflections through the picture
The exhibitions, which can be visited until March 28, will include images that illustrate the career of the center and their role in the local cultural scene, as well as a sample of the Mont-Agora Cinemas posters and the activities of the library.
Open Culture: an invitation to participate
On the occasion of the anniversary, the City Council of Santa Margarida de Montbui has launched the initiative ‘Open Culture’. This proposal seeks to bring the community closer to the activities carried out at the center, offering open sessions for all interested parties.
Workshops and activities for everyone
Among the highlights, on March 10, Flemish fitness sessions will be held, followed by an advanced Sevillan course on 11. On the 13th, a class of Pilates will be taught, while a yoga session will be held on the 14th. These activities will be designed to foster well -being and social cohesion among participants.
A month full of performing arts and music
In addition, on March 17, a theatrical improvisation workshop will be held, and on the 18th there will be a concert by the Anoia troubadours. Every day, Mont-Agora will offer a unique opportunity for learning and fun through the arts.
A promising future for Mont-Agora
With this celebration, Mont-Agora not only takes stock of its past successes, but also looks towards the future, with the aim of continuing to be a dynamic cultural engine that fosters creativity and community participation.
