A strategic plan for the housing future
This local housing plan is presented as an essential guide for Mont-roig housing policy over the coming years, with a horizon that covers from 2025 to 2030. Based on a comprehensive diagnosis of the urban, demographic and social dynamics of the municipality, the PLH proposes several strategies and actions to ensure accessible and quality housing for all citizens.
Key actions of the plan
Highlights include the creation of a municipal housing service, the promotion of social rents, the rehabilitation of real estate and the regulation of housing for tourism. This document seeks to address the challenges facing the municipality, such as the aging population, the increase in housing demand and the promotion of prices.
Motions approved unanimously
In another part of the session, the plenary unanimously approved a motion filed by ERC that claims the courts of peace as historical instruments of proximity justice. This proposal recognizes its relevance over the last 150 years, especially in mediation processes, and denounces the reduction of recent skills.
Initiatives for the Great People
In addition, a green light has been given to a motion of Together that seeks to establish a residential service with a comprehensive support for the elderly. This proposal urged the consistory to develop a project that involves citizen participation and collaboration with other administrations. The governing body has emphasized the importance of this residence in its mandate plan, with the aim of exploring different models and ways of funding.
Credit modification for sustainable economic management
