A day for classic motorcycles
Castellciutat will become the meeting point for passionate about classic motorcycles this Sunday, May 25, with the celebration of the eighth edition of the Meeting of Classical Motorcycles. In a festive and family atmosphere, the event promises a day full of activities and fun.
Day program
Participants are expected at nine in the morning at Plaça de l’Arbre, where the reception will be held. At 9:30, a popular breakfast, with a Food Truck service from the Charlie butcher’s shop, will kick off the day.
Premis I recognitions
At eleven o’clock in the morning, the organizers will present awards to the prominent motorcycles, including the oldest, known as “La iaia”, as well as the “La Forastera” award, recently introduced to recognize bikers coming from other locations. Attendees will also be able to vote for their favorite motorcycle until noon, at which time the winner of the prize “The motorcycle that I like the most” will be announced.
Various activities and popular lunch
After the votes, at half past one, all participants will take a joint tour of the village, followed by a popular lunch at 2 noon. In the afternoon, attendees will enjoy a jam dance with We Swing Pyrenees at 5, where there will be a draw that will add more excitement to the day.
An event in growth
Organized by a group of people who are passionate about classic motorcycles, the meeting has grown significantly since its inception. Initially, a modest event has now become an unmissable date for motorcycle lovers, with a distinctive character and a loyal audience. A new entity is currently managing the meeting, regardless of the Castellciutat Festival Commission, which had so far been its organization.
Family exhibitions and activities
Throughout the day, attendees will enjoy an exhibition of accessories and images, as well as family activities and music that will evoke the style of past times.
