Reinforcing the Relevance of Journalism in Health
With the intention of continuing the success of the first edition, which received 31 high-quality works in the field of health and social rights, this award seeks to encourage the creation of informative content that addresses these issues in depth and diversity
Award Categories and Endowments
The award, endowed with 5,000 euros, is divided into two categories: the Health and Social Rights Category, which offers 3,000 euros for works published globally but focused on Catalonia, and the Local Category, which rewards with 2,000 euros those works focused on Field of Tarragona.
Participation Requirements
To be eligible, works must be published or broadcast in written, digital, radio or television media during 2024, and must be presented in Catalan or translated into that language.

Esteve Giralt has highlighted the importance of communicating rigorously about the health and social services system, celebrating the continuation of this award as an opportunity to recognize the work of journalists in this field.
Expectations for the Second Edition
Giralt has expressed his hope that the prize will grow and become firmly established, while Adserà has reaffirmed the commitment of the Santa Tecla Network to journalism, hoping that this edition will equal or exceed the success of the previous one.
Strategic Collaboration
The initiative is part of a collaboration agreement between the Santa Tecla Network and the College of Journalists of Catalonia, with the aim of promoting the professional development of journalists and strengthening the media system in the Camp de Tarragona region .
