Approval of the regulations for the course 2025-26
The City Council of Altafulla has given the green light to the new regulations that will regulate the process of registration in the municipal nursery schools, ‘Hort de Pau’ and ‘Francesc Blanch’, for the school year 2025-26. This decision, formalized through a decree of the Department of Education, seeks to facilitate access to early childhood education in the municipality.
Opening of a public hearing period
With the publication of these rules on the City Council’s edit board, as well as on the official website, a 10 -day public hearing period begins, from April 1 to 14, 2025. All interested citizens will be able to present their opinions and suggestions, either in person or through the Electronic Office of the City Council.
Doors open for families
Families who want to get to know the facilities and educational project of kindergartens better have the opportunity to participate in the scheduled open days. The dates are as follows:

• Hort de Pau Nursery School: Monday, April 7 at 5:30 pm.
• Francesc Blanch Nursery School: Thursday, April 24 at 5:30 pm.

Requirements for pre -registration
To formalize the pre -registration, several documents must be submitted, including a completed pre -registration form, a photocopy of the DNI/NIE of the parents or legal guardians, and a photocopy of the family book. Additional documents can also be provided for the scale.
Additional documentation
Optional documents may be included:
• Registration flyer.
• Report of the Social Services in case of receiving the guaranteed income of citizenship or the minimum of life.
• Certificate of disability, if applicable.
Selection criteria
The criteria for admission to kindergartens are varied and include aspects such as registration in Altafulla, the employment situation of parents, and if there are siblings school in the same center.
Score and solution of draws
In the event of a tie, a draw will be made to determine the assignment of places, thus guaranteeing a fair and transparent process.
Important calendar for pre -registration
The calendar for submission of applications and registration is as follows:
• Presentation of applications: from April 28 to May 7.
• Publication of the provisional score: May 23.
• Claims period: May 26-30.
• Publication of the final score: June 3.
• Draw by tie: June 5.
• List of admitted and school assignment: June 6.
• Registration: June 9 to 17.
If no allegations are made during the public hearing period, the rules will be approved definitively. The City Council encourages citizens to participate actively in this process, thus ensuring better regulation and transparency in accessing municipal kindergartens.
