A festival with prominent female voices
The Nits al Castell International Music Festival celebrates its 25th edition this year. This summer event, organized by Xàtiva City Council, has prepared an exceptional line-up with some of the best female voices on the current music scene.
The festival will start on July 6 with the ex-vocalist of Presuntos Implicados, **Sara Giménez**, who will bring all her experience and talent to the stages of Xàtiva. With more than 40 years of career, Sara Giménez has highlighted the quality of the festival and has promised a special repertoire for the occasion.
July 13th will be the turn of **Chambao**, known for its music fusing flamenco and electronic music. His performance will be an opportunity to enjoy his successes and his latest work ‘En la cresta del ahora’.
On July 20, **Marala** and **Queralt Lahoz** will offer a joint concert that promises to surprise the most restless audience. This performance, according to the artistic director of Nits al Castell, seeks to reinterpret tradition and musical folklore with an innovative proposal.
The festival will close with a bang on July 27 with the performance of **Pasión Vega**. The artist will pay tribute to Federico García Lorca with his show ‘Lorca Sonoro’, in which his voice will be accompanied only by a piano.
