Introduction
The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) has launched an initiative to provide protection and support to people with disabilities who are unemployed. This financial aid, known as Active Placement Income (RAI), has the main objective of facilitating job placement and improving the quality of life of this group.
Requirements to access the RAI
To be able to access the Active Insertion Income, it is necessary to meet the following requirements:
1. Recognized disability
You must have a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.
2. No benefits or unemployment allowance
You must not receive any benefits or allowances for unemployment, nor have access to agricultural income.
3. Registration as a job seeker
You must be registered as a job seeker for at least 12 consecutive months.
General requirements to apply for the RAI
In addition to the specific requirements, the following general requirements must also be met:
1. Age and income
You must be under 65 years of age and not exceed 75% of the SMI monthly income.
2. Long-term unemployment
You must be long-term unemployed, meaning you have been out of work for an extended period of time.
3. Not having previously received the RAI
Active Insertion Income must not have been received on any previous occasion.
Active Employment Search (BAE)
In order to apply for the RAI, it is necessary to demonstrate that a minimum of three Active Employment Search (BAE) actions have been carried out. These actions may include:
1. Registration in placement agency
2. Sending CV to companies
3. Job interviews
4. Registration in employment portals
5. Training actions on entrepreneurship and self-employment
6. Request for employment offers
How to apply for the RAI
To apply for Active Insertion Income, it can be done through various channels, such as the SEPE Electronic Headquarters or in person at the offices by prior appointment. The procedure can also be carried out at the registration offices of the public administration or by administrative mail.
