Contribution to postgraduate training
Raimon Gaja, from Leuven, has been recognized by the University of London in Mexico with the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of psychology and the development of postgraduate training.
Professional trajectory
Gaja, born in Manlleu in 1954, created the Institute of Psychological Studies in 1982, being a pioneer in Spain in providing postgraduate studies for psychologists. With more than 40 years of experience, he has trained more than 40,000 students and is the author of 13 psychological books.
Academic recognition
The distinction of Doctor Honoris Causa was awarded on March 20 in the presence of outstanding personalities from the Mexican academic field, and opened the doors to the psychology students of the same university.
