MÉS for Mallorca calls for action against the management of an unlicensed agritourism
Jaume Alzamora, spokesman for MÉS for Mallorca in the Council, has requested the opening of a disciplinary file to the Director of Government Transparency, accused of managing an agritourism without a license. Alzamora has recalled that the Council has competences in matters of planning and tourist inspection and that after the publication of the irregularities committed by the high official of the PP, he urges action without further delay. In addition, he remarked that the PP cannot evade its functions as a public manager.
Request to the island’s Minister of Tourism
The eco-sovereignist spokesman has urged the island’s Minister of Tourism to act immediately and not to cover up the irregularities committed. He stressed the need for the tourism department to open an investigation and act accordingly, applying the law.
Request for documentation and demand for resignation
Alzamora has announced that the formation will register different documentation requests to the Department of Tourism to find out if there has been an attempt to hide information or if any favorable treatment has been granted to the high position now designated for operating without the corresponding license. In addition, he has reiterated the request of MÉS demanding the resignation or immediate termination of the popular position, arguing that the person in charge of ensuring the transparency and ethics of the Government cannot continue in the position.
