A Renewed Celebration
The 32nd edition of the Toca-Sons Festival is preparing for a spectacular return on August 25, with the aim of recapturing the essence of its roots. The event, which will have the active involvement of more than 120 participants, seeks to integrate both residents and visitors in an immersive experience.

During the last months, the organizing team has been immersed in a research process to revive the history of the party. They have collaborated with key figures such as Pilar López and Amadeu Carbó, with the aim of recovering characteristic elements that made this party memorable in its beginnings.
A program full of novelties
This year’s party will not be limited to the main day. Various activities will be introduced, such as the 7th edition of Toca-Sons Canalla on August 24th, a theatrical nocturnal walk called “Paper i pergamí” on August 20th, and a photography contest in memory of Lluís Tuneu , among others.
A Cinematographic Script
The writer Aniol Florensa has been in charge of creating a new script for the party, which promises to be a cinematic experience that will thrill and surprise all attendees. Florensa, also known for his direction on the APM program? from TV3, emphasizes that this year’s celebration is ‘pure magic’.
The Conflict between Bandits and Authorities
The key scene of the party will unfold around 7 in the evening, when the bandit and his gang will arrive in the village. This will trigger a conflict with the bailiff and the young men of the subject, who will try to capture him by order of the Viceroy of Catalonia. The staging will culminate with a trial at Can Costa Cultural Center.
Music and Gastronomy
One of the great novelties this year is the premiere of ‘L’himne dels bandolers’, a piece inspired by the traditional songs that gave life to the party. In addition, a parade called “Batec de la Vila” has been designed, where music and dances will enliven the atmosphere after a moment of truce between the two sides.

Tickets for the dinner, which includes a sausage sandwich and drink, can be purchased in advance at Bar Can Costa, with a price of €5 until August 23. The party will mobilize nearly 120 people including bandits, trabucars, actors and volunteers from various organizations.
