The City Council of Reus has started an exciting project to transform the area of the Trenet Park games, with a significant investment of 149,978.75 euros. This remodeling marks the first step of an ambitious plan to improve the playgrounds and urban furniture scheduled for 2025.
Strategic planning for the future
In addition to the Park of the Trenet, a second performance is expected in the Plaza de Europa, which will have a budget of 59,622.23 euros. Both initiatives are part of a broader plan that seeks to revitalize urban infrastructure through improvements on sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, and other elements of the public roads.
Current park conditions
The area for remodeling occupies approximately 935 m2 and is surrounded by a wooden fence. Currently, the pavement of Sauló has some deficiencies, including areas deteriorated by the runoff of water, which need urgent care.
Innovation in Games Design
The new design of the games will be adapted to the needs of the children, replacing the old facilities with modern options that reflect the identity of the park.
