A Step Forwards in the Governance of Dades
This Thursday, Sabadell becomes the nucleus of digital innovation thanks to the Digital Innovation Caravan, organized by the Diputació de Barcelona. The initiative, entitled “Governing the data to transform the city”, seeks to establish Sabadell as an example to follow in local data management, prioritizing technology and knowledge to improve the lives of its citizens.
Leadership of Experts in Dades
The President of Initiative Barcelona Open Data, Lourdes Muñoz, will be responsible for guiding the Sabadell City Council on this day, contributing his experience and knowledge in the field.
Governance Model: An innovative approach
Sabadell implements an advanced governance model that includes a catalog of corporate data, as well as the clear definition of roles and responsibilities in information management. This is accompanied by continuous training for municipal staff in digital and analytical competences, as well as the development of indicators to measure the impact of public policies.
Innovation Caravan: An opportunity to learn
The digital innovation caravan offers a platform for sharing successful experiences between various public administrations, regardless of its technical capacity or geographical location. This initiative seeks to improve management and services through technology, rethinking the traditional ways of acting.
Training in Open Data and Big Data
Coinciding with the visit of the Caravan, the Diputació de Barcelona organizes a cycle of training sessions on open data and Big Data, within the framework of Open Government Week.
Seminars for administrative transformation
The first session, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., will focus on data spaces and how they can be used to transform public administrations, in the context of the smart local network of governments. Pablo Garcia will be responsible for directing this training.
Later, from 12:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tania Guyón will lead a session on how open mobility data, provided by the Ministry of Transport, can be used to analyze and study road flows at the state level.
Access and registration
The complete program of the activities of the Diputación during Open Government Week is available on the website of the local innovation, integrity and transformation. These activities are designed for public administration professionals, as well as for others interested in the subject.
With these initiatives, Sabadell not only seeks to transform, but also aims to inspire other cities to follow its example in data governance and digital innovation.
