Dates and highlights of the celebration
Sabadell’s Festa Major 2024 will take place from September 6 to 9, offering a dynamic program with renowned artists such as Els Catarres and Juan Magán. With nearly 300 activities distributed in various settings, attendees will be able to enjoy a wide variety of options.
A focus on inclusivity
With a firm commitment to improving accessibility, this year’s festival will include measures to ensure everyone can enjoy the events. Spaces specially adapted for people with reduced mobility will be present at various points such as Eix Macià and Plaça de Sant Roc.
Adapted activities and novelties
One of the most outstanding novelties is the inclusion of a section without sound impact during the Closing Sequence, as well as specific timetables for the Amusement Fair, where lights and sounds will be avoided to favor people with sensory hypersensitivity.
Spaces and stages for all
The Espai Concert de l’Eix Macià will be the nerve center of the musical performances, while other areas such as Parc de Catalunya will host the traditional Fideuà. Plaça de l’Argub will become the meeting point for the Urban Culture Festival, bringing a new dimension to the event.
Various activities for all ages
The little ones will also have their space, with family concerts such as Pita’s at l’Estruch and storytelling sessions at Casa Duran with translation in sign language. Likewise, the children’s program will include activities at Arteneu, guaranteeing fun for the whole family.
The starting shot of the celebration
The Festa Major will officially begin on September 6 with the Initial Procession, which will include the Rodet Ball and the proclamation in Plaça de Sant Roque, followed by a spectacular opening show by the Teatre Sant Vicenç.
A collective effort
The realization of this great party would not be possible without the collaboration of a hundred local organizations and groups. Thanks to their commitment and support, Sabadell is preparing to live a memorable edition of its Festa Major.
Reflection on the Festa Major
With a rich and diverse program, Sabadell’s Festa Major not only seeks to entertain, but also to unite the community and celebrate local culture. This edition promises to be a reflection of the city’s commitment to inclusiveness and fun for all.
