The unavoidable quotation of Catalan flavor
This weekend, Salou will become the epicenter of Catalan cuisine with the celebration of the 13th edition of Sablau, an outdoor event that attracts thousands of gastronomy lovers. The inauguration will take place on Friday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m., with the participation of outstanding figures such as Cristina Lagé, General Director of Tourism of Catalonia, and the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados.
A feast for the senses
Located in the first section of the Jaume I Paseo, the fair will run until Sunday, May 25, presenting 38 exhibitors and a total of 57 stands that celebrate the best of gastronomy, restoration and gourmet products. This year, the event introduces the Gastrolab By Makro space, a meeting point where showcookings, tastings and workshops aimed at all audiences will be held.
Stars in the kitchen
One of the most anticipated moments will be the star chef workshop Michelin, Pep Moreno, scheduled for Sunday. Under the motto “We cook again at home. It is an act of pure love”, Moreno will share simple recipes ideal to enjoy as a family, thus raising the spirit of home cooking.

Activities to enjoy big
Among the outstanding activities are the popular tastings of Paella and Fideuada, Masterclass of cocktails such as the Pisco Sour and El Mojito, and street shows that include giants, batucadas and itinerant animation.
