Refuting Contradictory Positions
Sant Feliu En Comú Podem has denied accusations of contradictory positions regarding the Primary Care Emergency Center (CUAP) and the budgets of the Generalitat de Catalunya. In a press conference during the visit of deputy David Cid at the gates of CAP Rambla, the deputy of the Parliament of Catalonia stated that the CUAP agreement was already included in the accounts of two years ago and that the transfer and construction of a new emergency center were already decided and budgeted for. Thus, the idea that Sant Feliu En Comú Podemos is against the CUAP is disproved.
Political Priorities
In the Catalan area, deputy Cid justified the rejection of the Generalitat’s budget by stating that the current priorities are housing, health and public education. The opposition to the macro projects proposed by the PSC, such as a casino, the expansion of the Vallès motorway or the Prat airport, stands out. In addition, the budgets presented by ERC to Parliament are criticized for lacking ambition in the area of healthcare, especially in the case of Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
Complaints and Claims
The leader of Sant Feliu En Comú Podem, Lídia Muñoz, has denounced that the PSC continues to lie about the city’s situation in different areas. The denial of the City Council’s financially sound situation is highlighted and the opposition to the construction of the new CUAP is reprimanded for the negative vote on this year’s budgets. In addition, the need to continue defending public health in Sant Feliu is claimed and the municipal government is urged to govern the city.
Transfer of Land and Health Project
It was recalled that the transfer of the land for the start-up of the new health center could have been approved at the municipal meeting in April 2023. The PSC is criticized for not having approved this transfer and it is emphasized that, if had approved in the spring of last year, the project could currently be drafted. Continuity in the defense of public health in Sant Feliu is claimed and the municipal government is urged to act in this regard.
