The second day of the exhibition will be dedicated to a tribute to Jaume Bover, a beloved librarian from the Cervantes Institute in Tangier who passed away last year. The tribute will include the screening of an interview conducted in 2015 that addresses modernist architecture in s’Arracó.
‘S’Arracó entre el blanc i negre’ (2023) will be one of the outstanding documentaries, exploring the reasons behind the town’s return to its original municipality, with the participation of its director Víctor Álvarez.
An exhibition for the people and for art
The 1st S’Arracó Documentary Film Festival will not only be limited to screenings; it will also include two galleries that will be open both before and after the films, offering a space for the exhibition of local art. This initiative, in collaboration with Andratx City Council and other associations, seeks to strengthen community ties through culture.
